Band resumes tomorrow night! I sent an email reminding everyone about rehearsal as well as other information for the upcoming year. I hope to have a schedule of our "season" performances completed in the next few weeks as well as a list of music to be performed at each one. In addition, I will try to have a rehearsal schedule put together for the upcoming year.

Our next performance will be for the McCraney-Cottle Arts Council in Tallasse. The date will be Thursday, September 25, and the time for this performance will be 7:30 pm. The date for our performance scheduled at Judson College in Marion, AL, has been changed to Thursday, March 26, 2009. Our performance date for the Davis Theatre subscriber series is Thursday, January 29, 2009. The date for the Frazer concert will be Thursday, May 14, 2009.

By spreading our major concerts out at least every other month, this will enable us to perform a predominantly different order of music for each concert. In addition, a set schedule will allow everyone an excellent opportunity to notify myself of any missed rehearsals and/or performances.
